Now you have to delete all .PK4 files in the Base folder to prevent the game to use those compressed files agian. Now the game starts and runs mutch faster!!! But Watch out!! This is a guarenteed way to get a MASSIVE performance increase to your game, at the expense of taking up a little more hard drive space (2 gigs approx). I went from running low quality at 800x600 to running High Quality on 1024x768. zo dat uitpakken van die pk4 werkt echt super het draait echt enorm veel beter in high (ultra maar is proberen) dit is echt een aanrader hoewel me laadtijden wel iets langer leken maar dit kan ook ergens anders aan liggen

Nogal logies,op high en ultra high zijn de textures NIET gecompressed,en bij low & medium settings zijn ze wel gecompressed. Als ze dus niet zijn gecomprimeerd zijn de textures dus groter,dus een langere laadtijd. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ik speel Doom III nu 800*600 Medium Detail @ 30 FPS... :) Niet slecht voor een 9200SE vindt ik. Hij is nu lekker speelbaar door die tweaks (Ik heb nu wel 2 speciale effecten uitgezet in opties.) [img:2b956835d7]http://www.gold-strike.nl/~duke/doom.PNG[/img:2b956835d7] Ziet er hartstikke goed uit!

Bij mij loopt ie op High, 1024x768 perfect, ultra heeft ie soms eventjes moeitje. Tis mooi hoor, maar jammer van de magnifieke graphics, je moet zo snel reageren soms dat je minder van het mooie ontwerp van de opbouw van de graphics kunt genieten. Dit doet het de makers van het spel enigzins tekort.

Bij mij draait ie nu ook uitstekend :D . 640*480 High Detail @ 40 FPS... Super goed speelbaar , en ook nog eens super mooi.. 8) . Wat wil je nog meer .
