hallo allemaal,mijn zoon heeft Anno 1602(W95 en 98) en deze draait niet onder XP.Nu heb ik het in andere compatibiliteits modes geprobeerd maar dit helpt ook niet.Wie helpt mij? Gr. Sennid

Het is bijna onmogelijk Anno1602 onder XP te laten draaien. Tijdens de installatie geeft hij een foutmelding (staat mij bij). Wat ik gedaan heb is eerst alle data op de CD via de verkenner naar de doelmap (bij C:\anno1602) kopieren. Dan de installatie starten. Als hij met de foutmelding komt, niet annuleren. Ga met ctrl-alt-del naar je taakbeheer en herstart je pc. Ga naar de herstart via de verkenner naar de doelmap (bijv C:\anno1602) en dubbelklik het pictogram 1602. Op deze manier heb ik het kunnen spelen, maar echt netjes is het natuurlijk niet. :-?

Op die manier heb ik al vaker spellen gespeeld. Gewoon installeren, geeft ie een fout ofzo. Gewoon de rest van de game van cd plukken en de map stoppen en hopen dat het werkt. Soms wil dit wel lukken :D

By clicking at [windows update] you will be guided to the windows update website. Follow the update instructions. In case you do not want to download or install the update, switch off the music when playing ANNO 1602. It is also VERY important that you are logged in as "ADMINISTRATOR" when installing and playing Anno 1602 under Windows 2000/XP. Please make sure you update your graphics- and sound card-drivers regularly (make sure you choose Win 2000/XP drivers). And don't forget the drivers for certain chip sets, for example VIA at www.viaarena.com. Plus, install the most recent version of DirectX (currently 8.0 / 8.1). In case the above tips don't help, try switching off the music in the configuration menu. If this does not help, there is one more solution: Lower the sound card's hardware acceleration until the problem does not occur any more. You can find this under System/Sounds and Audio/Speaker Options/Advanced/System Power. An alternative is to go Start/Run, and type in "dxdiag.exe". There, you can find the hardware acceleration under "Sound".
