Nee dat kon ook niet. de GeForce 4 demo's waren DirectX 8 en de GeForce 2 DirectX 7. Ik weet zeker dat dat niet kon. sommige demo's werkten niet eens op de GeForce 3 terwijl die ook DirectX 8 is. Hoe dan ook als je al dat mooie wat DirectX 9 bied wilt dan moet je toch echt een DirectX 9 kaart gaan aanschaffen. dus een Ati Radeon 9500/9700 of wachten op de nVidia NV30

Direct X 9 komt steeds dichterbij. Microsoft heeft nu Release Candidate 1 uitgebracht (vorige was RC0) voor de eigenaren van een Radeon 9700 pro is dit dus weer itteressant. hier kan je hem downloaden: ftp://ftp.cableinet.net/store1/incoming/DirectX.9.0.RC.1-WiNBETA.rar [b:5d8be303c9]Let wel op![/b:5d8be303c9] Nadat je DirectX 9 RC1 hebt geinstalleerd kan je hem standaard niet meer uninstalleren.

Wat is het verschil tussen die webversie(8MB) en die grote versie (32 MB) dan, behalve het verschil in MB's? Grt, Analvabeed

Web versie is installer die de files download, normale installer heeft alle files al bij zig....

En een hele belangrijke vraag : Heeft het zin aan Dx9 te beginnen als je Win98SE hebt ? Dat OS wordt ten slotte niet meer door MS ondersteund ...

98 word nog wel ondersteund...... Win 95 en 3.x niet meer. (per 31 dec )

Bedankt voor de info. @JaFO Ik heb W98SE en merk iets performance verschil, namelijk als ik Internet Explorer open is die ook direkt geladen. Waarom niet proberen? Alles loopt net effe iets soepeler. In 3DMark2001 merk ik geen verschil. Was ook niet te verwachten. Grt, Analvabeed
