Hoe bewerk ik EPS bestanden?

Ik heb nog een aantal EPS bestanden gemaakt met Illustrator. Door een computer crash heb geen Illustrator meer. (Software kwijt.) Nu werk ik met Inkscape. Ik kan echter geen EPS bestanden openen. Wel AI bestanden. Is er een mogelijkheid om dit probleem te omzijlen. Ik kan nu niet bij mijn eps bestanden.
