Was toch eens nieuwsgierig wanneer de Radeon 9800 nu op de markt komt en wat ze verwachten over de prijs, dus ik maar een mailtje gestuurd naar Club3d (blijf het maar een rare naam vinden) Zeer vlot antwoord terug, Ze verwachten de Radeon 9800 in Juli en de prijs zal hoger liggen dan die van een Radeon 9700 Pro :( Kortom, niet de moeite van het wachten waard, je kan beter nu een Radeon 9700 kopen, zijn nog maar rond de 200 euro :D Oh, en ze verwachten niet dat de Radeon 9700 Pro snel in prijs zal dalen, komt door het gebrek aan kaarten\onderdelen (lack of goods zijn zijn woorden)

Ik denk zelf dat de Radeon 9700 PRO eruit gaat als de Raden 9800 non-pro Uitkomt. Wel vreemd dat het zo lang duurt voordat hij komt. Je kan inderdaad het beste een 9700 non-pro kopen. deze kaart is op dit moment de beste keuze qua Prijs/kwaliteit/performance gehalte.

De Radeon 9700 kwam toch ook veel later dan de Radeon 9700 Pro. Er zal wel een marketing idee achter zitten. RD, hoe heb je dat nu gedaan met die Zalman op de Radeon, had het er laatst over met Noud, en hij had het erover dat er een soort beschermingsrand om de core van de R9700 zit, en dat je daarom dat stuk kauwgom moet her gebruiken en je dus geen AS kan gebruiken, wat jij wel gedaan hebt.

Moet je even een E-mail sturen naar Thomas@wintelco.nl of Marc@wintelco.nl Thomas heeft het voor mij gedaan. die weet wel hoe het zit. er kon gewoon ASIII op. Ik heb wel een Connect-3d Radeon 9700. kan zijn dat het verschilt? lijkt me sterk omdat alle kaarten een R300 core hebben maar goed. wie weet.

Daar lag de core idd lager als de beschermingsrand. Lekker veel ASIII op gedaan. Bij mijn broertjes Sapphire 9500 was de beschermingsrand weer net zo hoog als de core. Weet alleen waarmee dit te maken heeft. Bij mijn eigen R9700 pro heb ik nog nie gekeken. Proefwerk week :cry

Wel vreemd eigenlijk dat het per kaart verschilend is. ze hebben tenslotte allemaal de zelfde R300 core. je zou toch verwachten dat het niet uitmaakt. Ben benieuwd of de RV350 (radeon 9600) of de R350 (Radeon 9800) ook zo'n rand heeft.

Lekker :) Radeon 9900 (R360) met 400mhz core en 400mhz(800ddr) mem. ik vraag me af of het DDR of DDRII geheugen is en of het standaard 256mb is of optioneel zoals bij de Radeon 9800 PRO. Met de release van de Radeon 9200SE, 9600SE en 9800 SE is het kiezen van een ATI Radeon 9x00 kaart nog waziger geworden. Ergste nog vind ik dat er 2 verschillende SE versie's van de Radeon 9800 zijn, je moet dan nog opletten ook dat je de 8 pipeline versie koopt. het gekke is dat de radeon 9800SE met 8 pipelens dus sneller is dan de Radeon 9800 non-pro als ik dit zo lees :-?

Bij Mycom hebben ze 9200 met 256 MB RAM liggen :o . kameraad van me heeft em gekocht. De kaart zit in een gewoon 9200 (128MB) doosje waarbij een sticker op is geplakt dat ie 256 MB RAM heeft en een zwarte sticker over het DVI logo (aangezien die versie geen DVI heeft). Zonde van je geld die extra 128mb, grote kans dat het nog trager geheugen is ook dan de 128mb versie. Aan die 128mb extra heb je wat op 1600*1200 met fsaa en af aan, en daar is de kaart toch helaas te traag voor. Check de FX 5600 review op digit-life of de Radeon 9800 256mb review op beyond3d. volgens Raymond, kan de R9800Pro met 256 mb wel 2x zo snel zijn als de 128mb versie, ben dan ook zeer benieuwd naar zijn review in de volgende C!T. Lijkt me enigzins onwaarschijnlijk, 200% is wel erg veel. (in de B3D review is het max 25%)

Ja, het is dan natuurlijk alleen de vraag of dat in een situatie is die vaak voorkomt? 2048 x 1536 op 4x FSAA dat gebruik je natuurlijk nooit :)

(in de B3D review is het max 25%)[/quote:96070559e3] Niet in alle levels scheelt het het zelfde, bv is Asbestos bijna niets, in Antalus 130-140% sneller, in Fase3 wel 200% net als nog enkele andere grotere levels. De texturebuffer raakt gewoon vol bij die grote maps en FSAA. Ik denk dat je met een snelle kaart zoals de FX5900 en de R9800 gewoon 256 mb moet hebben vooral gezien de spellen die binenkort gaan komen

Mja, dan heb je idd wel 256 MB nodig :o Ik dacht dat 128 MB voor de meeste games al overkill was, maar dat gaat dus al rap naar 256. Zijn er btw ook al kaarten die AGP Pro sloten gebruiken? Of komen die er aan? Die vind ik net op me mobo, moest eerst eens vogelen hoe het nou weer zat lol. Maar ik dacht dat PCI express er al aan kwam, dus wat ze dan met AGP pro moeten, misschien leuk voor de werkstations, maar meer niet.
