Hoi allemaal, Ik heb mijn harddisk geformateerd met bootable cd voor windows prof. Mijn harddisk is wel geformateerd alleen windows prof kan niet geinstallerd worden, omdat mijn pc sommige bestanden niet kan kopieren. via www.bootdisks.com heb ik een bootdisk gemaakt om een windows xp home te installeren. Voor het opslaan van het bestand heb ik 6 diskettes gebruikt. Alleen mijn pc geeft als melding nonsystem disk or dis error. Ik weet zeker da mijn diskette niet beschadigd is, ik heb namelijk ook met andere diskettes geprobeerd. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=E8FE6868-6E4F-471C-B455-BD5AFEE126D8 Wat heb ik verkeerd gedaan? Dit is vanzelfsprekend geen hardware vraag :roll: Overigens moet je een floppy image niet gewoon op diskette opslaan, maar onder Windows e.g. naar de flop schrijven met rawwrite. Of onder GNU/Linux met dd if=naamimage of=/dev/fd0

Het hoord idd niet echt bij hardware thuis, maar goed.
