Hoi, zelf snap ik het niet, waardoor het komt, dat bij sommigen Windows 7 langzaam is. Indien jij Taakbeheer opstart, wat wordt er dan vermeld over het aantal processen en CPU-gebruik? Is mogelijk bij jou de Windows Mediaplayer Netwerksharing continu bezig?

Speccy staat nu ca 15 uur onafgebroken aan maar geeft nog geen overzicht. Volgens Procexp is the CPU activiteit van Speccy <1%. Hoe lang duurt zo'n scan gewoonlijk?

Dat klopt niet. Dat moet zo gebeurd zijn. Mogelijk houdt iets je beveiliging of de firewall Speccy tegen?

Ik heb Speccy dedownload en geinstalleerd, daarna gestart als administrator. Alleen het eerste schermpje verscheen, met de standaard gegevens van de diverse onderdelen. o.m. de temperatuur, daarna niets meer. Had ik misschien de virusscanner moeten uitschakelen?

Of je antivirus of de firewall heeft Speccy mogelijk tegengehouden bij het scannen van je PC op onderdelen. Om je eerlijk de waarheid te zeggen, ik nog niet eerder zo iets met Speccy meegemaakt, maar alle heeft een eerste keer. Desalniettemin de vraag: heb jij er al over nagedacht Windows opnieuw te installeren?

Nog niet, maar dat heb ik nog nooit gedaan. Ik kan en weet niet zoveel, sorry. Mijn leverancier, eenmans"bedrijfje", is wegens ziekte niet beschikbaar. Ik zal overigens Speccy nogmaals draaien, maar dan zonder virusscanner, je kan nooit weten.
