Soundblaster!Live en Windows XP: The solution!

Ik heb dit op het Creativeforum gevonden voor de "ongelukkigen" onder ons die een sblive hebben samen met XP. Het werkt, alleen vanaf punt vier werkte het bij mij iets anders, maar dat wijst zich vanzelf. Try this solution to install the drivers : => start the update and pause at the message Box(don't click anything) => go into the folder "documents and settings/your account/" in your hard drive => search a folder called "local settings" or something likes this in your country language (traduct it into your language) and enter into it => search a folder called "temp" and enter into it => search a folder which name starts with "CRF", choose the last one => copy this folder where you want => go back to the install program and quit it => go into the hardware manager => select the sblive => update the drivers as manually as this : 1- Choose "install from a list..." , Next 2- Choose "Don't Search...", Next 3- Choose "Floppy" and search the folder you have copied, into this folder enter into the subfolder "wdmdrv" and validate 4- In the drivers list, Uncheck "Show Compatible hardware" 5- In the drivers list, select "Creative SBLive! (WDM)Version: 3509.1.0.0(31/08/2001)" and then click Next to install it => After having rebooted your pc, go into the folder you have copied before and run Setup => Go through the install and at the end of the installation cancel the installation of the drivers when it ask you to do this. => Reboot a last time yopur computer and now the SBLive should be ready.
