Mooi ? Ik vind het lelijk, maar aangezien ik de prestaties toch wat belangrijker vind ... :hmm: de HL2-release is uitgesteld voor 'onbepaalde tijd' (ok ze noemen wel 'kerst'/holiday season, maar het is vrij vaagjes ... ). niet veel sneller dan de 9800Pro ? Nou en ... ik heb maar een R8500, dus het zal hoe dan ook een verbetering mogen zijn ;) Ik ben benieuwd naar de 'echte' reviews/benchmarks van die kaart en eventuele concurrenten op dat gebied.

Ik vind hem zelf wel mooi, maar ja, smaken verschillen nu eenmaal. Ik vind het wel wat hebben deze cooler. Die grote fan is gunstig, hoe groter hoe minder lawaai (mitst de RPM niet te hoog zijn natuurlijk)

XGI begint meteen al met een kaart ter grootte van een voodoo 5 6000 :P wel een mooie kaart trouwens net als de 9800XT ik kan niet wacten op de benchmarks!

Lijkt me sterk dat ze daar niet meer op gaan focusen, het is hun primaire bron van inkomsten lijkt me. Ik geloof wel dat ze hun markt aan het verbreden zijn, ze doen nu ook al grafische chips maken voor de mobile markt begreep ik (GoForce 2150 )

Volgens mij zeggen die 2 power aansluitingen helemaal toch niet zo veel over het stroom verbruik want door 1 aansluiting kan toch net zo veel electriciteit of niet?

Verder zien we dat de Asus 9800XT Smart cooling heeft, dat houd in dat de fan van de kaart op een lager toeren tal gaat draaien op het moment dat de kaart minder heet is, (zal de kaart dus ook wel Hardware monitoring moeten hebbeb). Dit is handig als je geen game aan het spelen bent, dan maakt de kaart dus minder geluid omdat hij minder heet word.
