DTM race driver demo is uit!

Ziet er heel echt uit op 1280 x 960. en lekkere besturing. En de auto's zijn een feest van herkenning.

2x over een prachtig blauw scherm zodra ik race selekteer, zeer irritant want wou em wel is zien, vond de eerste beta demo ook leuk om te spelen. :(

Well, the main difference is that in the 'old' demo (so the 4 february version) you have to 'qualify' yourself in the Proton at Monza. In the other demo's you have to qualify yourself at Brands Hatch (just as in the final game). I'd recomend you to download one of the 'new' demo's (11 february build). So, you've downloaded the demo, everything is working, now what? I think you are pretty much bored by just doing one race over 2 laps. We can change that! Therefor you need a tool made by David Skotnicky, the one that made all the Race Driver tools :). Go here and download the tool called ToCa3Ripper (the newest version is probably 2.7). After downloading and unpacking the tool, run it. Then open the files (click on the figure in the upper left corner) "cov.big" in the folder "GameData\chamship". Then you have to open one of the files listed. See the next list what file you should open (this depends on in what championship you are driving in the race): BTCC: TOCA.ini DTM: DTM.ini Europe Tour: Amer.ini V8 Supercars: Avesco.ini After opening the right file scroll down till you see the line "[Championship]". After "RaceNum" you type the number of races you want to drive. Change this to '2'. Then go down till you see "[Race 1]". The name of the track is displayed above that line. If you want to add a second race to the championship copy the information under the line with the name of the track (including the line itself). So for example: *Copy starts here* ; Adelaide [Race 1] TrackID = ade Weather = 5 MandatoryPitStop = FALSE CrowdDensity = 3 NumLaps = 2 ChampionshipTrack = TRUE *Copy ends here* Past the whole stuff right after it. Het is niet van het niveau van TOCA2 (ook van codemasters) of sportscar GT. Als je bij die spellen een fatale botsing maakte, kon je ook echt niet verder rijden. Maar toch 'vindt ik het een leuk spel, levens echt, allemaal licentie's.

Wordt volgens mij echt een topspel. En als extra voordeel eindelijk een keertje het circuit van Zandvoort in een spel. Volgens [url=http://www.gamez.nl/_statisch/nws.4238.phtml]Gamez.nl[/url] staat er rond de releasedatum ook nog een multiplayer-demo gepland.

de demo doet het bij mij niet :( alles gewoon goed geinstalleerd en dan spelen maar dacht ik. maar nee hoor hij ploft er gewoon uit als ik ga beginnen met spelen. ook al alles op het laagst gezet en uitgezet in hardware setup, maar hij doet het gewoon niet. kan wel om hulp vragen hier, maar volgens mij doet hij het gewoon niet

[url]http://www.racedriver-portal.de/[/url] Op deze site zijn wat leuke aanpassingen voor demo te downloaden. Onder andere de race over 30 ipv 2 ronden en enkele nieuwe auto's.

Ik vind het idd ook te arcade achtig, het stuurgedrag is een stuk slechter als in de 1e demo (in 2002). :( Bovendien is het nogal erg crash-gevoelig, dit is echt het enige spel waar ik ooit blauwe schermen mee krijg, welke drivers dan ook :roll: Verder is het wel een erg kort demotje voor bijna 100 mb, maar goed..

Nou die 2e demo werkt hier wel, maar vind dit niet echt dat je zegt wow! Lijkt kwa controls erg op TOCA 2. Wel een voordeel dat het ook op "mindere" systemen loopt (mijn laptop met M7), maar wederom op mijn gewone PC een foutmelding, gelukkig geen blauw scherm als bij de eerste demo, maar dit keer onvoldoende schijfruimte op welke schijf ik em ook wil installeren (3gig+ aan vrije ruimte). Wel een aardig tussendoortje en voor niet PS2/Xbox bezitters toch wel een aardige en uitgebreide racer. Op eerdergenoemde console's zijn betere games imho en sla je dit over denk ik.
