Ik wil beginnen met MySQL, maar dat lukt niet. Ik heb Apache+PHP+MySQL geinstalleerd(ja, die in de C!T nummer 9 stond:D) maar mijn MySQL werkt niet :cry: Vraag 1: Alles werkt dus perfect behalve MySQL, de fout zit in de config.ing.php van phpMyAdmin. Dit is de fout die ik krijg: [code:1:947c115190] Welkom op phpMyAdmin 2.5.3-rc3 phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. Weet iemand of dit zo hoort of of dat het niet zo hoort? Ik weet het niet. Vraag 2: Als ik een nieuwe databse wil maken, hoe moet ik dat dan doen(Waar moet ik typen? kladblok, acces...)? Draait MySQL wel? Moet je namelijk apart opstarten. Daarna kun je de volgende commando's geven: mysql create database blabla; exit; Dan heb je een database aangemaakt met de naam blabla. Deze kun je vervolgens benaderen vanuit bijvoorbeeld phpmyadmin.

Hij draait inmiddels(denk ik). Je moet eens in de config files van je phpmyadmin kijken of de ingevoerde username en paswoord overeenkomt met de opgegeven username en paswoord bij de installatie van MySQL. Dat is toch hetgene wat ik opmaak uit deze error Groeten Tom

als je mysql draait (in windows) zie je een stoplichtje wat rood of groen wordt... groen is draaien :) t.
