Ik probeer momenteel Nero uit als brandprogramma (versie 5.5.4.0., van die Computer!Totaal cd-rom). Wanneer ik de optie 'CD-copy' kies, staan er op het tabblad 'read options' twee opties die me weinig zeggen. Ik kan er ook niets over vinden in help. Het betreft de volgende opties: - Read media catalog number and ISRC (slower) - Ignore illegal TOC-type Weet iemand wanneer het aan te raden is deze opties aan te vinken en wat ze inhouden?

Ik vink ze altijd maar aan. Heb er nog nooit problemen mee gehad. Nog wat info: ISRC ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is the international identification system for sound recordings. Each ISRC is a unique and permanent identifier for a specific recording which can be permanently encoded into a product, such as a CD. This field defines the capability of the drive to read this code. hier vandaan: http://www.zlurp.com/zlurp/cdrom/ Dat TOC verhaal vink ik ook altijd aan, anders krijg je volgens mij zo'n irritant pop-up bericht bij een "corrupte" TOC. Nog een aanvulling, gevonden bij Ahead: TOC TOC = Table Of Contents Contains lists of files and addresses of a CD or session. Comparable with the FAT for HDs. It is at the beginning of a CD and contains all the information on the way the CD is put together. Included in this are the start addresses and lengths of all tracks, the total length of the data area as well as information on the individual sessions. Nog even over die Illegal TOC: Enige tijd geleden werd deze methode nog wel gebruikt als simpele kopieerbeveiliging. DE TOC gaf dan een grotere hoeveelheid data aan dan er werkelijk op de CD stond, met als resultaat de melding dat e.e.a. niet paste. Door het vinkje te plaatsen gaat Nero desondanks toch branden.
