Maxtor 15 GB schijf niet te herpartitioneren

Hoi, Ik heb gisteren een nieuwe computer gekocht met WD 80 GB harde schijf. Ik had uit mijn oude computer de Maxtor 15 GB schijf gehaald en die heb ik erbij gezet (als slave). Het bios herkent hem gewoon, dat is geen probleem. De Windows verkenner geeft alle partities gewoon aan. Ik heb alle data naar de nieuwe 80 GB schijf gekopieerd en ik wilde met Partition Magic 8 de 15 GB schijf opnieuw indelen. Dit kan blijkbaar niet want hij geeft aan dat hij BAD is (geel omrand). Ik kan hem niet formatteren vanuit PM. Ik heb wel alle vier de partities vanuit Windows 2000 geformatteerd, maar nog steeds zegt PM dat het een BAD schijf is. Hoe kan ik nu de hele schijf weer formatteren tot een grote partitie zodat ie het weer doet? Probeer hem eens met een Windows 98 opstart diskette te partitioneren. Eerst partities verwijderen, daarna nieuwe partitie maken en dan formatteren.

Het probleem is dat fdisk hem dan ook niet ziet. Hij ziet alleen de 80 GB schijf. Die is in NTFS geformatteerd met Windows 2000 als OS. Fdisk ziet dit wel, maar de 15 GB schijf dus niet. Hoe krijg ik hem dan te zien?

Het lijkt erop dat je schijf niet goed door het bios wordt herkend. Probeer in plaats van Autodetect eens zelf de juiste gegevens van de schijf in het bios in te voeren.
