Gegevens CDRW kwijt?

Met programmas als Packet-CD, Direct-CD of IN-CD kun je je CDRW gebruiken als een 'harde schijf'. Als je computer echter vastloopt, dan ziet het systeem de CDRW als niet geformatteerd en moet je opnieuw formatteren. Gevolg: alle gegevens verloren. Is er in zo'n geval een manier om je gegevens toch te redden? Het lijkt mij dat de gegevens er wel op staan, maar dat er geen index is, waardoor je er niet bij kunt. Weet iemand daar een oplossing voor? Wim.

Weet iemand de oplossing voor Adaptec (nu Roxio) Direct-CD? Ik vraag dit voor een collega die op deze wijze haar gegevens vooralsnog kwijt is geraakt (tenzij er een oplossing voor is). WIE??? Wim.

Since a fixed-length-packet disc is always RW, that driver is only useful in a MultiRead drive or a writer capable of reading erasable media. A fixed-length-packet disc still in the drive after having been written must be ejected (and have the VFAT written) to give access to the new files. Zoeken met google naar udf recover gaf wel een aantal hits, waaronder http://www.softarch.com/us/products/fixUDF/FixUDFSellpage.html ; ik weet niet of dit programma het kan oplossen Je zult alle links langs moeten gaan om een programma te vinden. Je hebt ook bedrijven die gespecialiseerd zijn in datarecovery. Een van hen is http://www.datarecovery.nl, maar ik weet niet of die ook CDs doen. Verder vond ik bv http://www.acodisc.com/index.htm . Ah, dank je wel!! Ik had al een beetje het gevoel dat de gegevens kwijt zouden zijn, maar hoop doet leven, nietwaar? Zelf ben ik een aantal malen mijn gegevens op de CDRW kwijt geraakt bij het vastlopen van mijn systeem. Ik gebruikte hiervoor Nero IN-CD. Gelukkig ging het om een extra kopie van mijn gegevens en had ik de originele data nog op mijn schijf staan. Ik heb inmiddels IN-CD niet meer in gebruik. Ik brand wel een CDR of CDRW op de normale manier. Ik heb in ieder geval je link meteen doorgemaild aan mijn collega. Moet zij zelf maar bekijken of het de moeite is UDFfix aan te schaffen. Wim.
