Archos av-400 (80Gb) & quarter pixel ondersteuning

Beste mensen, ik heb een archos av-400, deze kan aleen geen quarter pixel divx bestanden afspelen.. heb op de site gekeken naar info hierover, heb alleen niets kunnen vinden.. weten jullie misschien of er firmware is die dit wel ondersteund? gr, robert

Ik weet niet of dit zo eenvoudig te updaten is met een firmware. Qpel ondersteuning is een decoderfunctie en die decoder is een hardwarechip. Zo'n hardware decoderchip heeft wel of geen ondersteuning voor Qpel decoding en dat is laterhand meestal niet eenvoudig toe te voegen. je zou kunnen beginnen met even uit te vlooien wat voor decoderchip er in je archos zit (meestal een sigma designs) en of de chip Qpel decoding kan doen. Als de chip het wel kan dan zou een firmware de optie kunnen vrijgeven, kan de chip geen qpel decoding uitvoeren dan hoef je ook niet naar een firmware te gaan zoeken.
