Idd zit er bijna precies hetzelfde uit als Leadtek. hjs: ik adcht dat Leadtek kaarten vaak wel verder OC'den hoor dan een GF4 met normale koeling.

Ja, dat denkt natuurlijk iedereen omdat er zo'n mooie heatsink opzit. Maar is het ook werkelijk zo? En hoeveel dan meer?

Mooi kaartje om te zien die Sparkle. alleen een beetje laat, laat ze maar een mooie NV30 kaart maken en dan op tijd. wat de Leadtek betreft. ik heb ergens een half jaar terug een artikel gelezen over het OCen van versheidene GF4ti 4600 kaarten, de Leadtek en de Gainward kwamen daar goed uit maar er waren geen excesen, ook opvallend was dat de visiontek geen Mem heatsinks had en een van de verste kwam met Mem ocen. dus de grote cooler van Leadtek en sprakle zegt niet alles.

Tegenwoordig wordt op bijna alle merken Ti4600 het zelfde geheugen gezet, daarom zijn de verschillen niet meer zo groot. Eerst zette Leadtek sneller geheugen op de Winfast versies.

Mja, volgens mij komt het ook door de package. BGA geheugen wordt veel minder warm, dus dan haalt al die koeling veel minder uit bij overclocken. Gainward en heel vreoeger Hercules zetten er ook altijd sneller geheugen op met koeling, lekkere kaarten waren dat altijd :)

Waarom zo mooie koeler en zo mooi uiterlijk voor zo'n slechte kaart?

De kaart is niet voor iedereen slecht. Als je geen spellen speelt is het een prima bordje. Veel bedrijven zweren het bij nVidia vanwege de drivers en de stabiliteit. Een GF4MX is voor die doelgroep niet eens zo gek. Hoewel ik zelf liever een Matrox G550 heb kun je met een GF4MX440 in iedergeval nog wat spelletjes spelen, dat kun je met een G550 wel vergeten.

triplex? Ik heb al eerder van die gasten een paar schitterende kaartjes gezien, maar ze zijn hier niet eens te koop dacht ik, of wel soms?

Leuk kaartje weer van triplex. het thema "silver" komt hiet ook weer terug.. of is het thema "platinum" ;) Volgens mij kan je ze idd niet in nederland krijgen. maar je kan ze natuurlijk wel uit het buitenland laten komen :)
