Point of View, Hercules of Club3D (Radeon 8500)

Hoi, Slashead had dit geschreven: Zou er dan eerder een Radeon 8500 in stoppen dan een GF3. Point of View ATI Radeon 8500, 64Mb DDR, TV/DVI/Hydravision 275Mhz € 211,- bij salland Automatisering Maar een GF4Ti4200 128MB is natuurlijk beter maar ook duurder... ---------- Nou ben ik prijzen aan het vergelijken en ik kom tot de ontdekking dat de "point of view" kaarten veel goedkoper zijn dan de Hercules en Club3D. Ik vind de 2e Ramdac belangrijk. Waar zit dat verschil nou in en welke is toch de beste van de 3 ? De prijsverschillen lopen op tot bijna 80 Euro ???!! Groet, Aswin

Zoals ik in dat andere topic al heb gepost. De klok van de POV is hoger. 275 i.p.v. 250 van Club3D en Hercules. Die laatste twee zijn namelijk LE versies. Koop dus gewoon die POV. Ook geinig van deze fabrikant is: The GeForce4 Ti 4200 Special Edition is powered by the GeForce4 Ti 4200 GPU. Hartstikke goed... dan nog 1 vraagje.. De TV-OUT die op m'n Gforce2MX400 zit, daarop zit nu een kleine zwarte stekker (?-polig) lijkt op een PS2-muispoortje en die loopt naar scart voor de TV. Vraag 1: Is die uitgang TV-OUT hetzelfde op die POV-kaart ? Vraag2: Is dit een directX8.1 Compliant of Compatible kaart ? Groetjes Aswin

Kan iemand mij gewoon vertellen of die POV ook dual-VGA heeft en een 2e Ramdac ? Ik zie in de test alleen die Club-3d tegenkomen en da's duidelijk (maar ook duurder). Wil weten of die point of view dezelfde is. Bedankt. Groet, Aswin

He AswinW, die radeon 8500 275Mhz is toch nog goedkoper dan 211 euro bij Salland?! Is maar 163 euro geloof ik. Of heb jij andere informatie?

Klopt, ik heb die genomen ook. En jij ? Want bij einstein was club-3D 212 EUR of 202 EUR. Als die POV kaart gewoon hetzelfde is als Club-3D, ga ik voor die POV-kaart natuurlijk, want die kost idd 162,53 EUR. Inclusief tot aan mijn huis met PTT kost het zaakje: EUR 175,79 Groet, Aswin

Ik moet nog even kijken of ik dat financieel gezien allemaal ga redden. Ik ga binnenkort op vakantie en ik moet voor september nog naar een andere kamer verhuizen dus dat zal ook wel wat gaan kosten :(. Mocht dat allemaal een beetje meevallen dan haal ik em gewoon ff op. Mijn ouders wonen daar namelijk in de buurt. Maar ja die 12 euro is ook niet zoveel natuurlijk op zo'n bedrag. Veel plezier ermee in ieder geval. Ik ben wel benieuwd hoe die bevalt. Zou je nog ff kunnen posten hoe de TV-out is? Groetz!

Ja, zal ik doen voor je. Als die TV-OUT niet beeldvullend wordt, gaat het zooitje linea - recta terug:-) Binnen 7 dagen retour sturen maar geen geld terug garantie. Je krijgt dan een tegoedbon maar die spendeer ik wel net zolang totdat ik een beeldvullende TV-out heb waarvoor een TV-Out bedoeld is. Vandaar dat ik beetje teleurgesteld ben in Nvidia, zeker nu ik hoor dat bij kaarten die bijna 1000 pieken kosten, zelfs die TV-out nog steeds zwarte randen vertonen. Dit is toch ondenkbaar voor kaarten om en nabij de 500 EURO ????!! Zal zeker posten of die kaart mij bevalt. Mij lijkt ie erg all-round en dat wil ik (goede 2D, goede 3D en goede TV-out beeldvullend) Groetjes, Aswin

Ja daarom wil ik hem ook kopen. Vooral die goede tv-out vind ik een belangrijk punt t.o.v. de GF4 ti4200. En daarnaast heb ik laatst plaatjes gezien van anisotropic filtering en fsaa op een ati vergeleken met die van een GF4 en dan vind ik die van de radeon toch een stuk beter, veel scherper. Is de DVD weergave (decoding) op een radeon8500 trouwens ook beter dan op een GF (2/3/4)?
