anoniem Geplaatst: 29 augustus 2008 Delen Geplaatst: 29 augustus 2008 Een huisgenoot van me heeft vandaag z'n nieuwe laptop binnen gekregen: Toshiba Satellite A300-16I. En die hebben we meteen geformateerd, want hij wilde geen Vista Home Premium 32bit, maar Vista Home Business 64bit (van studievereniging) vanwege 4GB werkgeheugen en remote desktop. Nu heeft Toshiba er alleen helemaal geen CD/DVD's bijgeleverd, dus ook geen driver CD. Maar als ik zo naar de Toshiba site kijk maakt dat ook niet zoveel uit, want waarschijnlijk hadden de juiste drivers er toch niet opgestaan, aangezien er op de site voor zowel XP als Vista alleen de 32bit drivers staan. Nu is het meeste hiervan wel te fixen, maar om de één of andere reden kunnen we geen driver vinden voor de ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650, staat in ieder geval niet op de AMD site. We hebben nog gekeken naar ATI Catalyst 8.8, maar die deed het niet, hij installeerde wel volledig, maar vervolgens werd er niks herkend. Maar daar kwamen we dan ook door bij de driverselectie Vista 64>Radeon>Radeon HD 3600 series te kiezen, aangezien bij Mobility Radeon alleen maar oude meuk staat, de hele 3xx0 serie staat er niet bij. anoniem Geplaatst: 31 augustus 2008 Auteur Delen Geplaatst: 31 augustus 2008 Bij Nvidia was het niet veel beter zag ik, die heeft dan wel eigen drivers op z'n site staan voor z'n laptopproducten, maar alleen voor XP/Vista 32bit, niet voor 64bit. Ook bij andere laptopfabrikanten kon ik geen 64bit videokaartdrivers vinden, dus het lijkt er op dat het er gewoon nog niet is. Wat betreft die modded driver, ik kwam ook redelijk veel problemen tegen daarmee, dus m'n huisgenoot heeft inmiddels de 32bit versie van Vista Business NL geïnstalleerd. Quote Link naar reactie
