Dat was natuurlijk te verwachtem, nadat ze ATI aan de kant geschoven hebben toen de GF3 uitkwam. Toch is de gemiddelde mac gebruiker niet echt een gamefreak, meer professionele gebruikers. Ik snap dan ook niet echt dat ze er geen quadro oid inproppen.

Wel raar dat Apple al reclame maakt voor de GeForce 4MX terwijl nVidia hem nog niet eens heeft aangekondigd. Ook raar dat ze in een Dual 1ghz Apple geen eens een Ti uitvoering stoppen ipv een MX. Ik zou bijna denken dat de Ti een stuk later gaat komen dan de MX. Diep triest van Apple dat ze met een GF4 Quake3 benchmarks gaan draaien...

Nou omdat slashhead zo triest er van wordt maar wat goed nieuws. Mijn zooi is binnen. hehe, heel gedoe nog en iets dat verkeerd onder rembours is gestuurd is niet makkelijk terug te draaien (volgens Noud van eynstein dan) dus hij heeft gewoon het bedrag dat ik moetst betalen aan de mevrouw van de PTT telefonisch overgeboekt, ik kreeg begin van de middag een telefoontje dat het geld er stond en ik kon de zooi gaan ophalen. 2 pakjes en natuurlijk stond 1 pakje hier op het lokale postkantoor en het andere ergens anders :sad: (de kast was te groot voor het lokale postagentschap) Maar we hebben nu alles, nu nog alles overzetten e.d. maar dat doen we morgen wel, geen zin meer vandaag.

Apple beweert tenslotte dat ze met hun DUal 1ghz 72% sneller zijn dan de Intel 2ghz. Vreemde Benchmark. niet betrouwbaar vind ik.

Zeker niet slecht geprijsd, er zit wel 128 mb op, het ziet er naar uit dat het geheugenprocede heel wat verbeterd is.

Die benchmark is niet echt super, Ik haal met mijn systeem ook 115 FPS, maar dan op 1280x1024x32 highest + 16 taps aniso... Je zou toch zeggen dat een dual 1GHz bak daar wel tegen op moet kunnen. (Q3A is ook nog eens dual optimized)

Bij de GeForce 3 was dat wel anders. na de bekendmaking van de GeForce 3 moesten we zeker 3 maanden wachten eer er een in de schappen lag. Ook is me nu een beetje duidelijk wat het verschil tussen de NV17 en de NV25 is. het valt me op dat de NV17 kaartjes geen nFiniteFX"! II engine hebben en de NV25 kaartjes wel. Datr gaat inderdaad hard en Asus is meestal redelijk snel te krijgen in NL, dus over een maandje kan je er misschien al eentje hebben draaien, ruim op tijd voor het zware grafische geweld in de vorm van Unreal2, SOF2 ect. :smile:

Ga je er ook een kopen Edward? ik zit zelf aan die zwaarste te denken. de ti 4600 dus. uiteraard wacht ik eerst de reviews af.
