Hoe verbind ik draadloze routers met elkaar?

Ik ben in het bezit van 2 draadloze routers, namelijk de 'Sitecom Gigabit 300N X3, model WL-351' en de 'Linksys WRT54G. Nu is de bedoeling dat ik beide routers aansluit op een pc en die dan draadloos met elkaar verbindt, bijvoorbeeld via een bridge, dus zonder draadloze netwerkkaart (die heb ik niet) Om te voorkomen dat ik beide handleidingen moet gaan doorspitten , hoop ik dat iemand mij antwoord kan geven op de vraag : Is dit mogelijk en zo ja, hoe krijg ik dat voor elkaar?

Als je de WRT54G voorziet van andere firmware (bijv. DD-WRT) heeft deze ook bridge-functionaliteit. Merk daarnaast op dat de WRT54G een max. snelheid heeft van 54MB terwijl de WL-351 tot 300MB gaat. Aangzien het een duplexverbinding betreft zal de max. te halen snelheid (theoretisch) 27MB zijn. Als je op de site van DD-WRT de juiste firmware opzoekt die bij de versie van jouw router past is het een fluitje van een cent. Welke versie WRT54G heb je? Staat op de sticker op de onderzijde van de router. Bij al mijn WRT54G's is de flash van de firmware probleemloos verlopen. Die 27MB is een theoretisch maximum, dat zul je niet gaan halen maar bij mij was het snel genoeg om filmpjes te kijken etc.

Utter garbage really. If they had put OSX on it perhaps it would have been something worthwhile. There is no innovation in the product at all. I would take a netbook any day of the week. Try typing on the iPad's virtual keyboard for any length of time. It will be the pits. Can you put it on your lap and type? I doubt it the viewing angles will be terrible you'll have to position yourself directly above the screen or bring your knees up into the fetal position to make it work. And have you ever tried typing on a virtual keyboard? Like regular typing?Add to all this the fact that in the latest iphone OS 3 beta SDK there are references to a product that has video capabilities on a screen that is 500 pixels .I'll give you a hint, the only screen this fits is the ipads LCD. But the ipad doesn't have video capabilities you say! Correct, it doesn't. At least, not this version. But clearly version 2 is going to have video (read cmreaa), and they haven't even released version 1 yet!!! Way to go Apple!
