The problem is that Epson does not supply a Win 10 driver for the Epson Perfection 1240U Scanner. The resolution is that they do supply a driver for the Epson Perfection 2400 Scanner. Then plug in your 1240U and look at it with the windows control panel devices. You will see the 1240U listed. Do a right click and select properties. There will be an opportunity to manually browse for drivers. Do so, and manually select the one for the Epson 2400. Windows 10 will complain and say this is not the correct driver, but it will accept it. After than your scanner will work.

Veel websites zijn met Google's recaptcha beveiligd tegen spammers. Nu heb ik niet zo vaak problemen met Google's oplossing daarvoor, maar de laatste tijd lijkt het wel of ik langer bezig ben met het klikken op plaatjes, dan met het invullen van mijn (persoons)gegevens. Wie ervaart dit nog meer zo?

Ik probeer met Macrium Reflect een kleine SSD met besturingssysteem te clonen naar nieuwe SSD, met behoud van capaciteit van nieuwe SSD (van 225 GB oud naar 1 TB nieuw), met gebruikmaking van Macrium Reflect Free. Tot op heden, met allerlei pogingen niet voor elkaar gekregen want clonen levert ook oude capaciteit op nieuwe schijf op, maar dat is nou net niet de bedoeling. Hoe wel?
